Gratitude...

I look around me....I feel a great sense of gratidute for each and every blessing bestowed to me. I have a warm and cosy apartment with sooo many new friends that really care and mean it when they ask, "How are you?" What a gift.....makes me feel I am where I am meant to be...on the right path, so to speak...

We all have our stories...our unique life experiences, different health issues...but in reality...we are all the same.....we just want to be loved....

My family are sooo incredible....my sister is actually doing her Christmas late to be able to come and see me as I will not be able to go to them due to knee surgery....how cool is that????? I cannot voice the gratitude I have for her selfless gift of her time to be shared together...it will be a very special time for me....we are going to have a Christmas with the true meaning of this blessed day in our hearts. It is not about material....it's about love............and I am RICH. :-)

Mellow....nice.....

I am feeling very mellow tonight...music softly playing...soft nostalgic sounds of Christmas' past, lost....and the magic of creating a new Memory....I drove in my first snow squall today...yikes! When a tracker trailor passed me, I was driving blind! That's kinda scary....but it was a straight stretch...so I clawed the steering wheel and hung in there...another feat conquered. Driving in the snow is one of my phobias....going...going....almost gone...lol
